A: No, the Ranger does NOT pair with the Gen 2. Ranger features Party Mode, which allows users to pair an infinite number of Gen 3’s, Rangers, & Grandes together for an unbeatable surround sound experience (Party mode does NOT work with the Gen 2’s).

Q: Can I connect multiple Ranger speakers?

A: Yes, with Party Mode you can pair an infinite number of Rangers for an unbeatable surround sound experience. Or, with TWS (true wireless stereo), you can pair two Rangers in classic Left/Right Stereo Mode.

Q: Does the Ranger float?

A: The Ranger does NOT float. In order to maintain its portable size, the Ranger is not buoyant, though it is fully waterproof.

Q: Is the Ranger waterproof?

A: Yes, the Ranger has an IP-67 Water Ingress Protection Rating meaning it's completely waterproof (fresh & saltwater) and submersible up to the 3 feet for 30 minutes. FYI, it does NOT float.

Always keep the port cover closed around water.
Do NOT allow your speaker to be exposed to any water or moisture while it is being charged or while it is plugged into a power outlet. Doing so can raise the risk of electric shock and also cause damage to your speaker.
If the speaker is exposed to saltwater, wash it off with fresh water after use.

Q: Can I charge my device through the Ranger?

A: Yes! In order to charge your device using your Turtlebox you'll need to have a USB-C compatible charger. Plug the USB-C into the out charging port and connect it to your device.

Ranger is amazing

The Turtlebox Ranger is hands down the best portable speaker I’ve ever owned. The sound quality is phenomenal—crisp highs, deep bass, and plenty of volume to fill any outdoor space without distortion. It’s rugged, lightweight, and built like a tank, which makes it perfect for everything from camping trips to backyard barbecues.

The Bluetooth connectivity is seamless, and the battery life is impressive—I’ve used it all weekend without needing a recharge. I also love the thoughtful design touches, like the waterproof build and the easy-carry handle. It’s clear that a lot of real-world experience went into making this speaker.

If you’re looking for a speaker that can handle the elements and still deliver premium audio, the Turtlebox Ranger is worth every penny. Highly recommended!
