Q: Does the Ranger pair with my Gen 2 speaker?

A: No, the Ranger does NOT pair with the Gen 2. Ranger features Party Mode, which allows users to pair an infinite number of Gen 3’s, Rangers, & Grandes together for an unbeatable surround sound experience (Party mode does NOT work with the Gen 2’s).

Q: Can I connect multiple Ranger speakers?

A: Yes, with Party Mode you can pair an infinite number of Rangers for an unbeatable surround sound experience. Or, with TWS (true wireless stereo), you can pair two Rangers in classic Left/Right Stereo Mode.

Q: Does the Ranger float?

A: The Ranger does NOT float. In order to maintain its portable size, the Ranger is not buoyant, though it is fully waterproof.

Q: Is the Ranger waterproof?

A: Yes, the Ranger has an IP-67 Water Ingress Protection Rating meaning it's completely waterproof (fresh & saltwater) and submersible up to the 3 feet for 30 minutes. FYI, it does NOT float.

Always keep the port cover closed around water.
Do NOT allow your speaker to be exposed to any water or moisture while it is being charged or while it is plugged into a power outlet. Doing so can raise the risk of electric shock and also cause damage to your speaker.
If the speaker is exposed to saltwater, wash it off with fresh water after use.

Q: Can I charge my device through the Ranger?

A: Yes! In order to charge your device using your Turtlebox you'll need to have a USB-C compatible charger. Plug the USB-C into the out charging port and connect it to your device.

Finally Bought a TurtleBox

I recently purchased a Ranger and it performs better than I expected. Being an outdoorsman, buying a waterproof, rugged speaker is imperative. Looking back on speakers I have purchased in the past, I should have bought a TurtleBox device much earlier. Thanks for a great product!

Turtlebox Nation!!

Absolutely love this speaker! The ranger is compact and still houses a mighty voice! I like the magnets and being able to put it on things I’ve tried so far. I think it’s an upgrade from the JBL Charge 5. My only regret on this is not getting on the train sooner. I need a couple more of these in my life. So turtlebox if you see this, wanna hook me up😉
