Best sound! Best customer service! I will be a Turtlebox customer for life! I have a Gen 3 original and a Gen 3 Grande. With my Grande under my boat seat and the original on my center console, I truly believe it has a better sound than if I spent more money getting holes drilled in my boat for permanent speakers, head unit, and amp that I’d have to let go if I ever sold my boat. Hopefully future releases synch with what I have to add to my dock or back patio at home. Would also like to see a wireless Turtlebox earbud model! Bye bye Bose!
I have had two Gen 2 Turtle Boxes that I have taken to the beach 10-15 times and daily at our pool over the last 3yrs. We always got complements and curiosity on where to get them. Plus they are Loud AF without distortion. I really enjoyed them and liked the true left and right stereo sound. Great for Superbowl and used them for several movie nights hooked up to the projector outside.
I wanted a little more bass and these two Grandes definitely deliver. I adjusted the EQ on my phone and they have even better lows at lower volumes when you don't want to disturb neighbors. But when the party needs to be hear two blocks over, they crank up and sound amazing. They left for days and connect to the new Gen 3 with party mode to add a speaker inside the house so the music is seamless from around the pool to inside the living room.
My wife uses the Gen 3 daily. Definitely recommend any of the Gen 2s, Gen 3s, and Grandes. Just need to hear what a ranger sounds like and I might pick up one of those for the golf cart.
