In case it’s your first time, this is called a website. It’s hosted on the Internet — a strange place where tons of information resides. Sadly, the Internet has reduced and lost the sense of human connection.

So let’s try to have a human experience — pretend you just walked into our store.

But enough about that, let’s jump into a little history. Turtlebox was started in 2012 by 4 best friends on mission to live free.

It all started when we bought and old sailboat together and needed music while sailing.

But a lot has changed since then, but mostly that Turtlebox has grown...a lot. Rest assured, we are still on mission to build the best portable, waterproof speakers on the planet.

We commit to not make junk. If it breaks, that’s on us. We’ll send you a new one. We pride ourselves on having the best customer service on the planet.

Regular product development, like making socks, is tough.

Consumer electronic product development, like making a calculator, is a little more tough.

Rugged, outdoor, waterproof, consumer electronic product develop, like making a Turtlebox, is really tough.

How many hours have we put into this product to make sure it’s waterproof? I’m not sure we could count.

How many hours to make it sound like an outdoor concert? Un-countable.

Drop-tests.

Pressure-tests.
Heat-tests.
Cold-tests.
It’s endless.
