Can Turtlebox survive 60 straight days submerged in saltwater? We tied a Ranger to a dock down in Port Aransas to find out. Fair warning: this imagery isn't for the faint of heart. The Ranger spent 60 days at the mercy of saltwater, changing tides, and a South Texas sun. When we pulled it back up, barnacles and oyster shells had made themselves at home. We hit the power button anyway. It turned on and played music, unfazed. Through the good, the bad, and apparently the ugly, Turtlebox never skips a beat.

Waterproof
Speakers
Turtlebox speakers are made for the outdoors — where loudness, clarity, and durability truly matter. There are enough variables outside, and your speaker shouldn’t be one of them.
Yes. Every Turtlebox speaker is rated IP67 waterproof and marine-grade certified, meaning it can be fully submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. In plain terms: rain, saltwater, and accidental dunks are no problem. Just make sure the charging port is fully sealed when you’re around water.

Don't just take our word for it: we left a Ranger submerged in saltwater for 60 straight days. If it can survive that, it can survive your next trip.
