Position Overview

As the Director of Finance, you'll be the numbers guru steering our financial ship through the seas of success. You'll dive deep into financial data and budgeting, and create and implement financial strategies that are as rock-solid as our speakers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning and forecasting, ensuring smooth sailing for Turtlebox's fiscal future.
• Conduct financial analysis, providing insights to guide strategic decision-making.
• Lead the charge on budget management and fiscal responsibility.
• Provide financial reporting, keeping stakeholders in the loop on our financial performance.
• Drive process improvements to streamline financial operations and boost efficiency.
• Lead the charge on budgeting, collaborating with department heads to develop budgets that align with our strategic goals. Keep a keen eye on spending trends and variances, adjusting course as needed to keep us on track.
• Harness the power of financial data to predict future trends and make informed decisions. Whether it's predicting sales trends or forecasting cash flow, you'll be the crystal ball that guides our financial strategy.
• Keep our cash flow humming like a well-tuned speaker. Supervise accounts payable and receivable with finesse, ensuring we're maximizing cash on hand while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Provide tax compliance, working closely with our tax advisors to ensure we're staying afloat in the ever-changing sea of tax regulations.
• Prepare and present financial reports to our leadership team with clarity and confidence. From monthly financial statements to quarterly board presentations, you'll be the maestro conducting the financial symphony.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred, but not required with enough experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in Finance as a Manager or Director.
• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A passion for the great outdoors and a love for bringing people together through music.
• Strong communication skills - you should be able to explain financial jargon to all levels of our team and stakeholders in a way that encourages meaningful action.
