We jokingly call our latest river trip down Cataract Canyon the magnum opus: a masterpiece of river trips. For anyone that’s been on an overnight river trip, you know that a lot is left up to the forces of nature. But this trip was beyond special. Every moment flowed seamlessly into the next. The group we assembled - mostly strangers to one another - fell into each other like old friends. Clean lines and clear skies blessed our days.
Whether it was for one of our many iconic dance parties, kitchen karaoke, or running rapids to Nickelback, the Turtlebox was essential in making what Raleigh and I have come to call “the magic.” It’s that feeling you get from doing what you love with people you love in nature. And while the wind, the water & the trees were a part of the soundtrack for our adventure, music was also of UTMOST importance. And we couldn’t have asked for a better speaker to accompany us down river.
