How To: Hook Up a Microphone To Your Turtlebox

You already know Turtlebox gets the party started. But there's a feature that doesn't get talked about enough. Did you know you can connect a 3.5mm microphone plug straight into your Original or Grande? Baseball practice, backyard events, birthday parties, and karaoke night just got a whole lot louder. 

Step 1: Power on your speaker
Turn it on and connect it to your phone or Bluetooth device. Quick note: if the speaker isn't connected to a Bluetooth device, it'll automatically power off after about 10 minutes, so make sure you're connected before you step up to the mic.

Step 2: Open the charging port
Flip open the charging port cover on the speaker. Inside, you'll find the dedicated mic port.

Step 3: Plug in your microphone
Take your 3.5mm plug and plug it straight into the mic port.

Step 4: You're ready to rock

The mic input is available on the Original and the Grande — two speakers built for exactly this kind of moment. Whichever you're rolling with, you've got a speaker that can handle the music, the mic, and whatever the night turns into.
