Intro
A native of Northern California, Virginia has been fishing professionally since 2016 & notably, in-addition to running a successful charter, she is also a published scientist & active in the field of Biology. A student in the classroom & on the water, fishing has taken her all across the map, with “X” marking the spot on her home port at the world famous Fisherman’s Wharf in San Fransisco,CA. As only the 2nd female to run a front-row charter out of the wharf- she candidly has all the personalty & work ethic to back up this bigger-than-fishing claim. She’s full steam ahead & passionate about protecting what she loves including the conservation of the White Sturgeon, a prehistoric & often misunderstood species that is currently imperiled in the state of California. This dedicated is on display for everyone who steps aboard her vessel, as one of the only catch and release Sturgeon charter in the region. Her is a mission we can get behind & under the shadow of the Golden Gate, she offers an experience unlike any other, music & all.

What is your profession? Did you always know this is what you would end up doing or was it something you “stumbled into”?
I have two professions. I own and operate Unforgettable Fishing Adventures out of Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco and I also work in a hospital laboratory.

Barbecuing on my Traeger Grills, Camping, Kayaking and Snowboarding.

What advice would you give an 18-year-old that wants to do what you do?
You can’t fake time on the water, practice, practice, practice.

Favorite wild meat/fish to eat? (i.e. venison, dove, quail, king fish, redfish, etc.) And in what kind of meal do you prepare it/eat it?
My favorite wild meat is King Salmon and White Seabass. My favorite way to prepare it is grilling it on my Traeger Grills.
What’s your favorite element of Turtebox? (battery life, durability, waterproofness, sound, togetherness, elevating experiences)
My favorite elements of the Turtlebox is its waterproof, it floats, it’s durable, it’s perfectly loud and you can easily wash blood off of it when processing fish.
How do you use your Turtlebox?
I use my Turtlebox on my charter boat the majority of the time, but I also use it while camping, while grilling, and while cooking and cleaning in the house.
