Q: Does the Ranger pair with my Gen 2 speaker?

A: No, the Ranger does NOT pair with the Gen 2. Ranger features Party Mode, which allows users to pair an infinite number of Gen 3’s, Rangers, & Grandes together for an unbeatable surround sound experience (Party mode does NOT work with the Gen 2’s).

Q: Can I connect multiple Ranger speakers?

A: Yes, with Party Mode you can pair an infinite number of Rangers for an unbeatable surround sound experience. Or, with TWS (true wireless stereo), you can pair two Rangers in classic Left/Right Stereo Mode.

Q: Does the Ranger float?

A: The Ranger does NOT float. In order to maintain its portable size, the Ranger is not buoyant, though it is fully waterproof.

Q: Is the Ranger waterproof?

A: Yes, the Ranger has an IP-67 Water Ingress Protection Rating meaning it's completely waterproof (fresh & saltwater) and submersible up to the 3 feet for 30 minutes. FYI, it does NOT float.

Always keep the port cover closed around water.
Do NOT allow your speaker to be exposed to any water or moisture while it is being charged or while it is plugged into a power outlet. Doing so can raise the risk of electric shock and also cause damage to your speaker.
If the speaker is exposed to saltwater, wash it off with fresh water after use.

Q: Can I charge my device through the Ranger?

A: Yes! In order to charge your device using your Turtlebox you'll need to have a USB-C compatible charger. Plug the USB-C into the out charging port and connect it to your device.

Top tier customer service

My first ranger blew somehow, and the turtle box team was exceptional to work with. Got my claim filed on Friday, approved same day and got my shipping label within an hour. Dropped it off at a fedex center on my way home from work on Friday afternoon. Received new speaker the next Thursday. Couldnt have been an easier process.

Its a speaker, but I think my JBL charge sounds better with more bass as well. Sorry.

The construction on this unit keeps the boys over at Yeti awake at night. If it lives up to the dust proof waterproof hype it will have long career in my garage.
