In honor of Mother’s Day, we wanted to share one of our favorite desserts, straight from Tate Farms.
Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 large can of sliced peaches in syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
2 tsps baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Cinnamon
Brown sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in 9 x 13” pan and heated oven. While butter is melting, combine sugar, flour, milk, baking powder and salt. Remove pan from oven and pour batter directly into middle of melted butter. Poor peaches,with juice, directly into center of batter. Butter will fold over batter and batter will fold over peaches.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Bake 30 minutes. Enjoy warm, room, temperature, or cold. It is delightful, which ever way you choose!
