Meet The Artist 

Guy Harvey is a world-renowned marine wildlife artist, scientist, diver, angler, conservationist, and explorer whose life and work have been shaped by a deep connection to the ocean. Raised in Jamaica, Guy developed an early fascination with marine life, combining his artistic talent with scientific curiosity and later earning a Ph.D. in Fisheries Management from the University of the West Indies. For more than 40 years, Harvey has traveled the world studying, fishing, diving, and documenting marine animals and ecosystems. Those experiences have fueled both his acclaimed artwork and his scientific pursuits, giving his work a unique authenticity and perspective. What began as one man’s way of capturing the beauty and wonder of the ocean has grown into the Guy Harvey brand, a global fishing lifestyle brand rooted in art, adventure, and conservation. Through his artwork, expeditions, and the Guy Harvey Foundation, Harvey continues to inspire people to connect with the ocean and support efforts to advance marine science, protect ocean habitats, and foster ocean stewardship through education.
