How To: Party Mode with Turtlebox

One Turtlebox is loud. Multiple Turtleboxes connected together? That's a whole different experience. Party Mode is Turtlebox's built-in feature that lets you sync multiple speakers simultaneously for big, immersive sound. And the best part? There's no limit. Connect two speakers or one hundred. Whether you're hosting a backyard cookout, setting up for a live event, spreading sound across multiple rooms, or throwing a massive beach bonfire, Party Mode turns every moment up a notch.

Step 1: Choose your host speaker
Pick one speaker to be your host — this is the speaker connected to your phone via Bluetooth and the one that controls everything. Turn it on and activate Party Mode by pressing the Party Mode button. You'll see the Party Mode light illuminate.

Step 2: Power on your satellite speakers
Turn on all the additional speakers you want to add to the party. These are your satellites.

Step 3: Activate Party Mode on each satellite
Press the Party Mode button on each satellite speaker. Here's the key: make sure all other lights on the satellite speakers are off — especially the Bluetooth light. If Bluetooth is active on a satellite, it won't connect to the host and will run independently.

Step 4: Turn up the volume and party on
Volume control, track skipping, and playback are all managed through the host speaker only. The satellite speakers follow the host's lead — they can't independently control volume or skip tracks. If you press the power button on a satellite, it'll pause audio on that speaker only. Pause on the host and all speakers pause together.

More speakers, more people, louder nights. Every Turtlebox in the lineup — Ranger, Cub, Original, and Grande — is Party Mode compatible, so you can mix and match sizes depending on the setup. The lineup is built to scale with you, from a two-speaker setup on the back porch to a full multi-room sound system that covers the whole backyard. Wherever you're throwing down, Party Mode amplifies every moment. Shop the lineup.
