Esquire: The 2026 Esquire Gadget Awards

Esquire just dropped their 2026 Gadget Awards, representing the best tech of the year. The Turtlebox Cub took home The Best Portable Outdoor Speaker. We’ll let them explain why.

"We’ve loved Turtlebox for a minute, but there’s something we need to say about these speakers: They’re solid. Turtlebox answered our prayers with a ’tweener. The Cub is perfect for solo or small group days at the beach and nights camping." - Esquire

The Cub is a compact, waterproof Bluetooth speaker built for the days you want big sound without the big haul. IP-67 rated, 118 decibels, and 14+ hours of battery life, Cub is ready for whatever comes next.
