Intro
Meet Elite Bass Fisherman, Easton Fothergill. From his early days fishing the lakes of Minnesota to standing at the top of the Bassmaster stage, Easton’s drive and focus got him to where he is today. His passion for the sport has made him one of the most respected young anglers in the game. Known for his underlying confidence and relentless work ethic, he’s already made his mark with multiple Bassmaster wins, including the 2025 Bassmaster Classic title. And he’s just getting started. When he’s not on the water, you’ll find Easton bowhunting, shooting hoops, or kicking back at the lake with family, friends, and a Turtlebox in tow.
For him, living free means soaking in every moment outdoors, appreciating the beauty, the grind, and the freedom that comes with doing what you love every day.
Q&A
What is your profession? And did you always know this is what you would end up doing, or was it something you stumbled into?
I fish for a living on the Bassmaster Elite Series. This has been a dream of mine since I was a very young kid. I went to college in Alabama to further pursue my dream, and it all took off from there.
When you’re not doing your core pursuit, what else do you enjoy doing?
Off the water, I’m usually playing basketball, bowhunting, or just relaxing at the lake with friends and family.
How do you incorporate music into your life?
In my profession, we log tons of hours on the water and in the outdoors in general. Music has been a big piece of this, whether it's keeping me in the zone or allowing me to relax during stressful times.
What does “Live Free” mean to you?
Live free means taking in everything around you. To me, it’s about not taking anything in the great outdoors for granted — just slowing down, soaking it all in, and appreciating everything happening around you.
Who is your favorite musical artist? Or what are you listening to right now?
Whiskey Myers is my favorite artist right now. They have music that fits about every vibe and for whatever reason their stuff really speaks to me.
Favorite Turtlebox speaker and why? How do you use it?
The Original Turtlebox is my go-to. It’s with me for countless hours on the boat — whether I’m chasing fish or just enjoying the water. The durability and sound quality are unmatched, no matter what kind of weather I’m facing.
